Team Kapiti's World Cup Champions!

The day was sunny, the excitement palpable.  After a series of tightly-fought heats, the finalists emerged.  Portugal (room 11) to contest France (room 26).  The students were keen to gain a victory, the teachers desperate!  Who would prevail?  Ms Nuttridge or Ms Monaco?  The trophy glistened in the sunlight, waiting as the game nearly had to go into extra time.  Finally, points were scored and the cheers erupted as room 11 triumphed over room 26.  Always a good sport, Ms Nuttridge congratulated room 11 and shook Ms Monaco's hand.  Netball's next, she was heard to say...they can't win that one!

But seriously, the students did themselves proud.  Admirable sportsmanship, fantastic sharing of skills and peer-coaching, awesome involvement by players, spectators and supporters alike.  This showed the magnificent Team Kapiti in their true colours - a fantastic bunch of kids, having fun and getting stuck in.  Well done, everyone!

The champions...well done, Portugal (room 11)!!

Ms Nuttridge loses gracefully...or does she?
