Details of Term 3 Homework Changes

Team Kapiti – Challenge by Choice Homework

In term three, all students will be expected to complete two Challenges – you can choose which ones interest you.  Ask your teacher or your family if you need some help choosing.

This will help you to learn how to:

• ·         Manage your time effectively
• ·         Manage a task to a high standard of completion

During the term, your teacher will check in with you to make sure you’re getting your homework Challenge completed.  You can ask for help at any time.

Here’s what we’ll do each week:

Class task:  working through a Challenge together so that we know what our work should look like. Teachers to show the Challenge reflection sheet Choose your own challenge and begin work	Continue to work on your Challenge. Your teacher will check in with the class to see how you’re going. ASK for help if you need it!	Keep going! Remember to collect and present your evidence… Due next week…	Finish off your task, make sure you’ve presented your evidence. Homework due:  Friday morning Your teacher will give the class some time to present your Challenge	Homework Club:  Lunchtime      Tues and Wed   (if you couldn’t get yours done last week) Hand in to your teacher by Thurs morning Team Assembly:  celebrating our Challenges None finished this week?  Detention Friday 2-3
